We are assisting a community-academic medical center in their search for a Radiation Oncologist. This is a hospital-based practice with plenty of volume and diverse cases. The cancer care team comprises medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and gyn oncology.


Practice Highlights:

  • Support staff of 5 radiation therapists, 2 RNs, 2 physicists, and 3 dosimetrists.
  • Interest in Brachytherapy is important
  • HDR with Varian Bravos for prostate and GYN
  • Technology: Varian IX with ExacTrac for SRS and Trilogy, BrainLab, Aria, Eclipse, MIM, CT sim
  • PET and MRI for simulation/ diagnostics
  • Access to clinical trials through the University of Kentucky
  • Teaching opportunities available to residents and medical students
