Physician - Oncology

Job Details:

• Full-time locum oncologist position covering 4-5 days per week once credentialed until permanent hire
  
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with night call and weekend call coverage
  
• Call coverage is 1:4 ratio via beeper/phone
  
• Both inpatient and outpatient coverage required
  
• Practice setting includes clinic and outpatient/hospital-based environments
  
• Patient population is 100% adult with 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient split
  
• Average patient volume is 2-4 patients per day in the hospital and 16-20 patients per day in the clinic
  
• Community-based position with no required teaching or leadership responsibilities
  
• EMR system is Epic
  
• Candidates should be able to cover 4 weeks at a time (candidates offering slightly less may be considered)
  
• Active Board Certification in Medical Oncology required
  
• Medical Oncology fellowship required
  
• Active Ohio license or active IMLC preferred; open to licensing candidates
  
• Required certifications include ACLS and DEA
  
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
  
• Clean background required with no malpractice or license issues
