Job description
Locums Medical Oncology coverage in Ohio with a steady weekday clinic schedule plus 1:4 night and weekend call, and a clear preference for physicians who can commit to 4 week blocks.
Highlights
- Mon to Friday clinic schedule with defined daily hours
- Mix of outpatient and inpatient work, 80 percent outpatient and 20 percent inpatient
- Predictable volumes, clinic 16 to 20 patients, hospital 2 to 4 patients
- Client preference for 4 weeks at a time coverage blocks
Practice Setting
- Clinic based role with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities
- Adult only patient population
- Full support staff in place
- Typical volumes, clinic 16 to 20 patients, hospital 2 to 4 patients
Schedule
- Monday through Friday, scheduled hours are 8a to 5p
- Night call and weekend call required, 1:4 call coverage
- Client requests physicians who can cover 4 weeks at a time, not 1 week per month
- Estimated start is mid December 2026, with temporary privileges possible if submitted and offered promptly
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Oncology
- Ohio license required, will consider waiting for licensure with an active IMLC LOQ only, Open to IMLC Physicians
- ACLS and DEA required
