Locums | Medical Oncology | Lansing, MI (MI license required) Why This Role

  • No call or weekends
  • 3 days/week
  • 100% outpatient clinic
  • Long-term coverage through April 2028
  • Epic EMR
Assignment Details Dates: January 11, 2027-April 1, 2028 Schedule: 3 days/week, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p Coverage type: No call Setting: 100% outpatient clinic Volume: ~17-20 patients/day Patient population: Adults only Reason for coverage: Maternity leave and ongoing permanent recruitment EMR: Epic Credentialing: ~100 days; no temporary privileges Clinical Details General Medical Oncology Evaluation and management of patients with various cancers Management of some benign hematology patients Outpatient cancer care and follow-up No pediatric patients No teaching or leadership responsibilities Requirements Board Certified in Oncology required Active MI medical license required BLS required Clean malpractice and license history required Current self-query NPDB required at presentation Experience managing a broad range of cancers and some benign hematology patients Compensation Rate caps apply per facility Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
