Job description
A health system in Lansing, Michigan needs a board certified medical oncologist for a long-term outpatient clinic assignment beginning January 11, 2027 and running through April 1, 2028. The schedule is three clinic days a week, Monday through Friday, 8a to 5p, with no call and no weekends. Expect 17 to 20 adult patients a day, with a range of cancer types and some benign hematology, in a 100 percent outpatient setting. Charting is in Epic. The clinic sits across the street from the main hospital, a Level 1 trauma center.
Pay is $508.20/hr, with holiday and overtime at $762.30/hr. Flights, lodging, and a rental car or mileage are covered. Michigan license required.

Job Responsibilities
- Manage a range of cancer types and some benign hematology patients

- No teaching or leadership role is required
- Chart in Epic
Qualifications
- Active Michigan medical license
- Current BLS
- Clean malpractice and license history, with a current NPDB self-query (within 30 days)
- Credentialing takes about 100 days, so an early start on paperwork matters
