## Medical Oncologist Opening | Brattleboro, VT Located in Brattleboro, Vermont Part-Time, Permanent ## Practice Overview * Part-time Medical Oncology opportunity in Brattleboro, Vermont * Join a collaborative, multidisciplinary oncology team serving patients throughout southeastern Vermont and neighboring regions of New Hampshire and Massachusetts * Provide comprehensive outpatient oncology care in a patient-centered clinic setting * Diagnose, stage, and manage a broad range of malignancies * Develop individualized treatment plans utilizing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other evidence-based treatment modalities * Monitor treatment response and adjust care plans as appropriate * Manage treatment-related side effects and provide supportive cancer care * Educate and counsel patients and families throughout the continuum of care * Collaborate closely with surgeons, radiologists, oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, and oncology navigators * Participate in clinical trials, research initiatives, and quality improvement projects * Mentor clinical staff and contribute to departmental education and program development * Participate in rotating call and weekend coverage * Candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance * Visa sponsorship is not available ## Compensation & Recruitment Package * Annual salary: $250,000–$350,000 (prorated for part-time schedule) * Approximately 24 hours per week * Competitive compensation based on experience, education, and market conditions ## Job Qualifications * MD or DO * Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology * Completion of an accredited Oncology fellowship program * Vermont medical license or eligibility * Clean malpractice history required * Visa sponsorship is not available ## Benefits * Competitive compensation package * Flexible part-time schedule supporting work-life balance * Collaborative multidisciplinary practice environment * Opportunities for professional growth and leadership * Participation in clinical research and oncology quality initiatives * Modern outpatient oncology practice serving a diverse regional patient population ## Community Details Brattleboro is a vibrant New England community known for its natural beauty, thriving arts scene, and exceptional quality of life.
