Job description
We are seeking a Medical Oncology physician for a locum tenens position in Minneapolis, MN. This opportunity provides inpatient medical oncology and hematology coverage in a hospital setting. Please see below for more information.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage inpatient malignant and benign oncology patients and all ranges of hematology consults
Supervise advanced practice providers (APPs)
See all new inpatient consults
Provide overnight on-call coverage (from home) for medical oncology-specific calls
Qualifications
Active Minnesota medical license (IMLC accepted)
DEA registration
BLS certification (BLS or ACLS required)
Epic proficiency (required)
Working Hours
Call: Monday 8am to following Monday 8am (flexible scheduling)
Overnight call from home; medical oncology-specific calls only
