Job description
We are seeking a Medical Oncology physician for a locum tenens inpatient position in Minneapolis, MN. This is an opportunity to lead an inpatient medical oncology team, manage complex oncology and hematology cases, and provide overnight call coverage. Please see below for more information.

Job Responsibilities
Supervise advanced practice providers in patient care and clinical decision-making
Evaluate and manage all new inpatient medical oncology consultations
Provide comprehensive inpatient cancer care for various malignancies
Manage complex oncologic emergencies and treatment complications
Coordinate care with surgical, hematology, and other specialty teams
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for cancer patients
Qualifications
Minnesota medical license (IMLC accepted)
DEA registration
BLS or ACLS certification
Working Hours
Overnight call from home (medical oncology-specific calls only)
One week at a time coverage (Monday 8:00 AM to following Monday 8:00 AM)
