Job description
We are seeking a Medical Oncologist for a locum tenens position in Minneapolis, MN. This is a hospital inpatient opportunity leading the medical oncology service, with overnight and weekend call required. Please see below for more information.

EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
See inpatient patients and cover all new consults
Manage inpatient malignant medical oncology patients and a full range of hematology consults
Handle malignant and benign oncology cases
Carry an average daily census of 30–40 (approximately 20–25 patients per day)
Manage an adult and geriatric patient population
Complete same-day documentation
Work with APP support (1 M–F, 1 on weekends), nurse triage service, and hospitalist availability
Qualifications
Active Minnesota medical license or IMLC
DEA
BLS or ACLS
Working Hours
Overnight call from home, medical oncology–specific calls only
Call scheduled a week at a time (Monday 8a to following Monday 8a), including weekend call
