Staff Oncologist - Outpatient Oncology in Brattleboro, VT

- Pay Package: $1.00 per hour (note: pay details provided; see below)
- Additional Compensation: Competitive salary range $250,000 - $350,000 annually (pro-rated for part-time)

- Diagnose and stage various cancers using clinical assessments, imaging, and lab tests
- Develop personalized treatment plans including chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Manage treatment side effects and provide supportive care to improve quality of life
- Educate patients and families about diagnosis, treatment options, and outlooks
- Collaborate with surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and navigators to coordinate care
- Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives
- Stay updated on current clinical guidelines and advancements in oncology
- Mentor and guide other healthcare professionals in oncology practices
- Medical license in Vermont; Board Certification or Eligibility in Oncology
- Minimum of 2+ years relevant experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
- Compassionate patient communication and teamwork abilities
- Not open to candidates who commute more than 1 hour, or working in conjunction with other jobs
