Job description
A facility in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Medical Oncologist for a locum tenens assignment with flexible scheduling and ongoing coverage potential.
- 1 week/month minimum needed
- Support staff: 3 full-time administrative assistants, nursing assistants, RNs, and APP support (APRN and/or PA-C)
- Amount of coverage needed per month: at least 1 week/mo, ideally looking for providers willing to cover 2-4 weeks/mo
- Patients per day: around 16 patients/day
- Patient population/age: adults
- Department description: medical oncology with focus on GI, GU, Breast, and Lung Oncology. Mostly all outpatient work, but may have options to assist inpatient if needed. Provider will do both new patient appts and follow up appts.
- EMR: EPIC
- License required: KY or IMLC preferred, open to licensing
- DEA: KY required
