Job description
We are seeking a Medical Oncology / Hematology-Oncology physician for a locum tenens position in Minneapolis, MN. This is a multi-site float pool inpatient coverage opportunity with overnight call from home, covering several hospitals and clinics in the metro area. Please see below for more information.

- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage an average daily census of 30–40 patients and see 20–25 patients per day
See all new consults
Cover malignant and benign oncology as well as all hematology consults
Supervise APPs (1 APP Monday–Friday, 1 on weekends)
Provide overnight call from home (medical oncology specific calls only)
Float between multiple hospitals and clinics in the network
Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
Work alongside nurse triage service and hospitalist support
Qualifications
Active Minnesota state license (IMLC accepted)
DEA
BLS
ACLS
Working Hours
Overnight call from home, taken a week at a time (Monday 8:00a – Monday 8:00a)
Start Date: 7/13/2026
Contract Length: 13 weeks (flexible)
Employment Type: Locum Tenens – 1099
