Rates: $475/hr
Opportunity Highlights

Start Date: June 1, 2026.

Schedule: * In-Person: 5 days per month (8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM).

Remote: 1-hour telehealth conference every Thursday.

Ad Hoc: Telehealth clinics and intermittent staff messaging support as needed.

Work-Life Balance: No call, no rounding, and no admissions.

EMR: EPIC (Proficient users only).
Clinical Setting & Workflow
The oncologist will operate in an outpatient setting within a Critical Access Hospital (Level IV Trauma Center), serving the adult and geriatric population of Southeast Alaska.

Patient Volume: 12–16 patients per day during in-person clinic weeks.

Scope of Practice: Medical Oncology, Hematology, and Infusion center oversight.

Solo Practice: The provider will work solo in the oncology department but remains integrated with the broader hospital staff.

Clinical Activity: Must provide case logs from the last 24 months demonstrating active practice in Hematology/Oncology.
Provider Requirements

Board Status: Board Certified in Medical Oncology (Required).

Licensure: Active Alaska (AK) Medical License and active AK DEA must be in hand at the time of presentation.

Certifications: Active BLS (AHA or ARC only).

Experience: Must be a proficient Epic user.
