Medical Oncology Physician opening - Sioux City, IA 90 miles from Omaha, NE; 150 miles from Des Moines Position Details
- Full-time, outpatient-only position
- Established team: 3 Medical Oncologists, 2 Radiation Oncologists, 2 APPs
- Comprehensive onsite services in one location: Hem/Onc, Rad/Onc Clinics, Infusion Center
- Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- 4-day work week
- No nights, weekends, or holidays
- No call responsibilities
- Cohesive, supportive team allowing autonomy while building practice Clinical Details
- Average of 20 patients per day
- Outpatient care only
- Multidisciplinary support including RN Navigators, Social Worker, Case Managers, Referral Specialists
- Emphasis on patient-centered, collaborative care
- Strong focus on evaluating, interpreting, and coordinating patient care decisions Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Oncology
- Ability to obtain and hold unrestricted Iowa medical license
- Current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe/administer medications
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B cap exempt)
