A well-established cancer center in Greenville is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum opportunity with a consistent weekday schedule and no call during the assignment. This is an excellent opportunity to step into a collaborative oncology program due to provider departure.
The practice includes strong APP support, active Tumor Board participation, and a balanced case mix of benign hematology and malignant oncology. With steady outpatient volume and structured hospital support, this role offers both clinical impact and schedule stability.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient oncology and hematology care (adult & geriatric patients)
- Manage approximately 25 outpatient visits per day
- Participate in Tumor Board discussions
- Order and interpret labs and diagnostic imaging
- Prescribe and oversee chemotherapy (administered by oncology nursing team)
- Support inpatient rounding as needed
- Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation
Qualifications
- Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
- Active South Carolina medical license
- BLS and DEA required
- Clean background and malpractice history
- NPDB Self-Query report (within 30 days)
