This community hospital provides comprehensive cancer care services to Georgetown and surrounding areas. The radiation oncology department features modern equipment including a dedicated linear accelerator, allowing patients to receive high-quality treatment close to home without traveling to larger metropolitan areas.
Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
• Coverage needed while community provider is out on leave • Average of 15 patient encounters per shift • Must be board certified or board eligible in Radiation Oncology • ACLS certification required • Experience with Linear Accelerator including Rapid Arc/VMAT and Electrons • Proficiency with Tomotherapy and Superficial/Orthovoltage treatment • Skills required in various techniques including Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, SRS, IORT, TBI, TSE, and Hyper altered fractionation • Treatment planning capabilities including Conventional planning, Beam shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, and Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI) • Active Kentucky medical license required (IMLC not accepted) • Fellowship trained preferred • Convenient access to Lexington airport with Hilton accommodations available

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
