Facility:
This academic medical facility serves as a comprehensive cancer treatment center for Northeast Texas, providing cutting-edge radiation oncology services with state-of-the-art technology. The department features 2 beds and supports approximately 20 patient encounters per shift in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.
Opportunity:
Board Certified - Radiation Oncology
Job Details:
• Provide radiation oncology services with approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
• Utilize Linear Accelerator technology including Rapid Arc/VMAT and Electrons
• Perform Conventional/Conformal Therapy techniques
• Conduct Intensity Modulated Radiation therapy (IMRT) treatments
• Utilize Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) methodologies
• Perform Stereotactic Body radiation therapy (SBRT)
• Implement conventional treatment planning protocols
• Utilize beam shaping (MLC) techniques
• Conduct 3D CRT treatments
• Must maintain active Texas medical license
• Board certification required with BLS certification
• Credentialing timeframe approximately 60 days
• Fellowship trained preferred
• Stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) experience preferred
• PET CT or MRI Image Fusion experience preferred
• Electronic Portal Imaging (EPI) experience preferred
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
