This healthcare facility features a comprehensive cancer center offering integrated oncology services to the regional community. The center provides both medical and radiation oncology treatments in a supportive environment with state-of-the-art technology and a collaborative approach to cancer care.
Opportunity:
Physician Assistant (PA) - Oncology
Job Details:
• Provide oncology care in an outpatient medical oncology setting • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with coverage needed at least three days per week • Manage approximately 8-10 patients per clinic day • Complete staging workups and formulate/initiate chemotherapy or immunotherapy treatments • Collaborate with radiation oncology (on-site) and surgical oncology (off-site) as appropriate • Work alongside other NPs and PAs in a team-based approach • Provide oversight to treatment delivery and infusions • Coordinate patient care across regional health systems when necessary • Treat a diverse range of oncology cases including head and neck, prostate, breast, skin, lung, lymphoma, liver, colorectal, gynecologic, and other cancer types • Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred but not required • Work with an excellent support team including 2 clinic RNs, 4 infusion RNs, and 1 RN navigator • Additional support includes radiation oncologist, dosimetry, radiation therapy, dietitian, prior authorization specialists, and other specialized staff • Must be either Board Certified or Board Eligible • North Dakota license or IMLC highly preferred (will accept candidates willing to obtain ND license) • BLS certification and active DEA registration required • EMR systems include Mosaiq/Meditech
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
