A full-time opportunity in a comprehensive cancer care setting offering strong support, modern facilities, and an excellent work-life balance. The role includes both oncology and hematology with mostly outpatient responsibilities.
Practice Highlights
• Comprehensive cancer center (accredited)
• 4–4.5-day work week with limited home call
• 90% outpatient / 10% inpatient
• Approx. 80% Oncology / 20% Hematology (solid tumors: breast, lung, colon, prostate)
• Rapid ramp-up with 30+ new patients per month
• Access to advanced imaging equipment (MRI, CT, Ultrasound)
• Experienced APPs, nurse navigators, and support team
• Clinic located close to radiation oncology, infusion, radiology, and inpatient services
• Hospitalist team handles admissions; oncologist provides consults
• Optional teaching opportunities through accredited residency programs
Candidate Requirements
• BC/BE in Medical Oncology or Hematology
• Eligible for Indiana medical license
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Interest in outpatient-focused oncology care
Schedule & Coverage
• 4–4.5-day work week
• Limited home call
• Majority outpatient with small inpatient consult volume
• Credentialing and onboarding support provided
