Job description
Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Palliative Care Physician to join the growing Palliative Care Team within highly successful private Oncology/Hematology practice in beautiful southern, Maine and New Hampshire. The successful candidate will be trained in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Palliative Medicine/Hospice, experience in Oncology and Hematology patient care preferred.
As a Physician member of Palliative Care Team, you will be providing care in the outpatient and inpatient setting in Portsmouth NH and Kennebunk ME clinics along with as needed coverage in our largest Scarborough/Westbrook, ME clinic . You will collaborate in co-managing palliative cancer treatments with patients' primary Oncologists/Hematologists. In conjunction, you will participate in inpatient care on NECS patients that are admitted to area hospitals.
This position is full-time and includes a competitive compensation and benefits package, generous PTO and CME time, paid holidays as well as relocation assistance. NECS is a private medical practice composed of 16 Oncologists and hematologists and 2 Supportive Care Physicians serving the region from 8 different locations in Maine and New Hampshire.
