Opportunity:
Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Oncology
Job Details:
• Split position: 0.6 FTE Radiation Oncology/0.4 FTE Medical Oncology • Join a team consisting of 3 physicians, adding 1 NP • Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision-making skills • Work both independently and in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals • Provide health care to individuals and families with emphasis on health promotion and disease prevention • Support current practice and help elevate service levels through survivorship plans, telemedicine, and patient education regarding chemotherapy side effects • Help expand outreach services in Northern Wisconsin • Monday-Friday schedule with no call and no weekends • Requires high level of customer service skills to establish positive relationships with patients and colleagues • Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing OR Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program • Current Wisconsin licensure as a registered nurse (for NP) or Physician Assistant • Minnesota/Michigan license preferred • National certification in applicable area • Current CPR certification • Must successfully complete credentialing process prior to practice • May be eligible for additional compensation through bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
