Job description Memorial Cancer Institute (MCI), part of Memorial Healthcare System, is seeking a BE/BC Medical Oncologist, dedicated to breast cancer and disease, to join a multidisciplinary team in delivering world class cancer care. MCI is recognized by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and is a designated Cancer Center of Excellence by the Florida Department of Health. The physician will join a comprehensive team of five (5) breast medical oncologists and four (4) breast surgical oncologists with robust APP support.

This is a full-time employed position with the multispecialty Memorial Physician Group. The position offers competitive benefits and a compensation package that is commensurate with training and experience. Professional malpractice and medical liability are covered under sovereign immunity.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists to provide comprehensive treatment options for patients, along with integrative medicine specialists to optimize patients’ well-being and quality of life. This is an outstanding opportunity to join an established program with a strong reputation in the community, and a state-of-the-art facility with innovative technology. Candidates must have an interest and passion for teaching, as they will be involved in training of the next generation of physicians with Memorial’s ACGME-accredited Hematology and Medical Oncology Fellowship Program. The selected candidate will be required to actively participate in clinical research, both through patient enrollment and participation in forums to conduct institutional research initiatives. Ample resources for academic pursuits via affiliations with nearby universities are available.
