Annashae is looking to a Physician to do the following;
  1. Perform return-to-duty medical evaluations with medical record’s review and referral as appropriate after prolonged absence, major illness, surgery, or limitations imposed by personal physician
  2. Perform fitness-for-duty medical evaluations as requested by employee's supervisor when it is observed or reported that the employee cannot perform essential job functions or supervisor believes employee poses a risk to safety
  3. COVID 19 Support: a) Work independently to triage employees telephonically as part of the COVID pandemic response. Will also be responsible for tracking employees that have been triaged to ensure adequate follow-up and timely return to work. b) Conduct contact tracing as appropriate for employees who have positive COVID results. c) Create Work Status Notices for employee to reflect the employee’s current work status for the divisions. d) Coordinating care for safety sensitive employees who are currently being managed as part of the pandemic response and those who are being evaluated for Return to Duty. e) Providing direction to other team members (medical assistants and non-clinical staff) to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. f) Providing evidence-based patient care based on the nursing process policy, procedures, and protocols of the Office of Occupational Health and Wellness. g) Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary health care team to optimize employee customer satisfaction. h) Participating and promoting quality clinical improvement by supporting departmental and organization safety standards.
  4. Recognize the need to remove from duty or disqualify applicants and employees who do not meet physical or mental medical standards
  5. Review medical charts to ensure compliance with essential job functions and resolve grievances, complaints, issues, etc.
