Medical Director – Occupational Health & Urgent Care Location: Findlay, OH • Specialty: Occupational Health & Urgent Care • Position: Medical Director • Join an independent, nonprofit, physician-led health system and member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network • Leadership opportunity combining clinical practice with administrative responsibilities Opportunity Overview • 80% Clinical Practice / 20% Administrative Leadership • 50% Urgent Care – Physicians Plus • 30% Occupational Health – Well at Work • 20% Medical Director responsibilities Clinical Responsibilities – 80% • Provide urgent care services for acute illnesses and injuries • Deliver occupational medicine services, including: o Work-related injury care o Occupational physicals o Return-to-work evaluations • Medical Review Officer (MRO) certification preferred • Willingness to obtain MRO certification required Medical Director Responsibilities – 20% • Develop and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and protocols • Oversee quality initiatives and OPPE processes • Collaborate with and support Advanced Practice Providers • Train and onboard new providers • Partner with operational leaders to advance service line goals • Provide clinical leadership while maintaining an active patient-care role Compensation & Benefits • $300,000 base salary (includes vacation and CME) • $100,000 signing bonus ($50,000 in Year 1 and $50,000 in Year 2) • $10,000 relocation assistance • 200 hours paid time off/CME (5 weeks) • $5,000 annual CME and board certification allowance • 403(b) retirement plan with 4% employer match beginning Year 2 • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and malpractice coverage Findlay, Northwest Ohio – Lifestyle & Community • Recognized as one of the nation's top micropolitan communities • Cost of living approximately 8% below the U.S. average • Home to the corporate headquarters of Marathon Petroleum and Whirlpool • Home to the University of Findlay and Owens Community College • Convenient access to Toledo, Columbus, Detroit, and Cleveland • Family-friendly community offering affordability, educational opportunities, and a strong quality of life
