Job description
We are currently seeking a locum tenens Occupational Health Physician to provide coverage at its Lakewood and West Orange locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality occupational medicine services in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-placement physical examinations and return-to-work clearances
- Order and interpret diagnostic X-rays and laboratory results
- Perform initial and follow-up assessments for work-related injuries
- Administer medical surveillance and exposure treatments
- Conduct health screenings, substance testing (for cause), and fit-for-duty evaluations
- Collaborate with physicians, APNs, and other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Active New Jersey Medical License
- Valid CDS and DEA registrations
- DOT Certification (Preferred)
- MRO Certification (Preferred)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Occupational Medicine
