What You’ll Do:
- Provide full-scope midwifery care across inpatient settings, including labor, delivery, postpartum, and gynecological exams
- Manage intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital environment
- Support patients throughout labor and delivery, including first assist responsibilities
- Perform well-woman exams across the lifespan
- Collaborate with OB/GYN support and utilize Epic EMR for documentation
- Support patients in a Level III NICU-equipped hospital with 24-hour in-house OB/GYN support
What You Need:
- Active Texas Medical License and Texas DEA
- Minimum of 2 years of recent full-scope midwifery experience
- At least 2 years of recent first assist experience within the past 2 years
- Strong skills in labor support, postpartum care, and gynecologic exams
About the Assignment:
This position is at a full-service hospital with a high-volume birth rate of 1,300-1,500 annual deliveries, equipped with a Level III NICU. The facility provides 24-hour OB/GYN support, ensuring comprehensive care for mothers and newborns in a supportive environment.Compliance Footer:
