Piedmont Medical Center in Fort Mill, South Carolina — a Tenet Health facility just south of Charlotte — is seeking two board-certified OB/GYN Laborists for in-house call coverage September through December 2026.
One gate and one gate only: active South Carolina license required. No IMLC pathway. No licensing assistance available. If you do not hold an active SC license, this role is not for you. If you do, read on.

Call only, in-house. 24-hour coverage. 30-minute response time required.

Job Responsibilities
In-house call, laborist model
30-minute response time required
Average 24-hour shift: 3 to 5 phone consults, 3 to 5 patients seen, 1 to 2 admissions
Admissions required
Level II trauma center, Peds Level III, stroke certified facility
15-bed OB department with 10 RNs on support staff
No APP supervision required
No teaching required
Cerner EMR
Qualifications
Active South Carolina license — mandatory, no exceptions
BLS required
Clean background and NPDB required
Credentialing: 90 days standard, expedite available for clean files
No temp privileges available — active credentialing required before start
