Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive gynecological and women’s health services.
  • Conduct patient evaluations including medical history, physical examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Perform both OB services at the hospital and GYN for surgery and office
  • Perform routine gynecologic procedures and screenings including:
    • Pap smears
    • IUD insertions/removals
    • Nexplanon procedures
    • Cervical exams
    • Preventive screenings
  • Diagnose and manage gynecologic conditions and disorders.
  • Order, interpret, and explain laboratory and diagnostic tests.
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and ensure continuity of care.
  • Provide patient counseling on preventive health, reproductive health, and wellness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation using the electronic health record (EHR) system.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Serve in rotational on-call coverage as required.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and care teams to support patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • Active California medical license (or ability to obtain).
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • Strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred.
  • Bilingual skills in Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of culturally sensitive patient care.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Experience with outpatient women’s health services.
  • Familiarity with FQHC/community health settings.
