Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join a patient-centered women’s health team in Bronx, NY.

This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to practice within a collaborative, multi-specialty environment that values evidence-based care, patient education, and professional growth. The CNM will provide comprehensive women’s health services including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care while working closely with OB/GYNs and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive care to women during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.

  • Conduct routine gynecologic exams, family planning, and reproductive health counseling.

  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians and other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe, evidence-based care.

  • Diagnose and manage common obstetric and gynecologic conditions.

  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and imaging.

  • Educate and counsel patients on preventive health, nutrition, lactation, and newborn care.

  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary meetings.

Qualifications

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Midwifery program (MSN or DNP).

  • Licensure & Certification:

    • Active or eligible Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) license in New York.

  • Experience: Prior experience in women’s health, obstetrics, or gynecology preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
