Position Summary

The organization is seeking an experienced Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to join its growing Women’s Health practice in Lawton, Oklahoma. The incoming provider will work alongside a dedicated team—including two OB/GYNs and a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner—providing high-quality prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care.

This role offers a balanced practice environment, strong administrative support, and a competitive compensation package aligned with MGMA-median benchmarks. Student loan assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope midwifery care including prenatal visits, labor management, deliveries, postpartum care, and routine gynecologic services.

  • Collaborate closely with OB/GYN physicians and advanced practice providers to ensure continuity of care.

  • Participate in patient education, preventive health initiatives, and ongoing quality-improvement programs.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system.

  • Support a patient-centered culture that prioritizes safety, compassion, and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications

  • Education: Master’s degree in Nursing with CNM certification from an accredited program.

  • Licensure & Certification: Active Certified Nurse Midwife credential; eligible for Oklahoma licensure.

  • Experience: Prior CNM experience preferred; candidates must be comfortable managing full-scope midwifery care.
