Position Highlights:
- Academic role: Teach residents, fellows, and medical students
- Collaborative environment: Work with midwives, MFMs, anesthesiology, and NICU teams
- Clinical variety: Labor & delivery, OBED coverage, CNM supervision, cesareans, vaginal deliveries, and emergency GYN consults
- High-acuity practice: Tampa General Hospital handles 7,000+ deliveries annually with Level 4 maternity care and Level 3 NICU
- Growth opportunities: Leadership pathways and potential OBGYN hospitalist fellowship
Compensation & Benefits:
- Competitive base: $325,000 for 14 shifts/month; extra shifts paid hourly with quarterly true-ups
- Signing bonus and full benefits: Pension, 403B/457, health/dental/vision, $4,000 CME allowance
- Loan forgiveness eligible: State entity programs
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree or equivalent
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology
- Will be required to be licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine before commencement of employment
- Must be ABOG board-certified or active candidate in Obstetrics and Gynecology
