Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to serve a diverse patient population and work among a team of multispecialty providers. Access to onsite services such as ultrasound, imaging, laboratory services, and other specialty services.
• Location: Porterville Health Centers – Porterville, CA
• Certification: BC/BE, new graduates are welcomed to be presented
• Timeline: Available as soon as possible. 3 months w/ possibility to extend
• Schedule: full-time, 4 days/week (8 hour shifts) with one evening shift per week (12-9pm, and one Saturday per month.
• One day will be clinic and call
• Generally, Saturday clinic will be on the same weekend as call coverage
• Additional evenings or Saturdays may be scheduled based on vacation/CME coverage for the team
• Call: 1:3 one weekend per month (covering Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
• Call is not restricted which allows physician to be home or in clinic while on call
• Deliveries: Varies, 0-5+ on weekdays and weekends
• Caseload: 20 to 22 patients per 8 hours in clinic
• Procedures: Full scope including LEEPS, cryotherapy, colposcopy, IUDs, nexplanon, and endometrial biopsies.
• Hospital: Sierra View Medical Center [Register to View] level 2 nursing, NICU, pediatric hospitalist available/FHCN on-call, on-call anesthesia
• 8 labor rooms, 10 postpartum rooms, 2 triage beds
• Vacuum assisted births and forceps, no VBACs
• EMR: health center – eCW, hospital - Meditech
