Location: Hickory, NCSpecialty Needed: OBGYNLength Of Assignment: Full time PermanentFacility Type: Private GroupOBGyn Opportunity to join Private Group in Western NC:Opportunity to join Catawba Women’s Center, a private OBGyn practitioner group. Our professional team also includes certified nurse midwives and nurse practitioners. We offer a comprehensive array of in-office procedures and ancillary services including: nuchal translucency ultrasounds, hysteroscopy, endometrial ablations, the Essure procedure, bone densitometry, screening mammography, andurodynamics. Easily the largest OBGyn group in the area all deliveries and surgery (some with the DaVinci robot) is done at Catawba Valley Medical Center where a new tower, currently under construction and scheduled to open in about 2013 will include the Women’s Pavilion and Nursery. The presence of 2 Neonatologists allows us to take care of babies down to 26 weeks. We are looking for a young physician with good laparoscopic skills, but who also wishes to take care of the whole patient, offer preventive care, and wishes to practice both obstetrics and gynecology.
