Women’s health care group in greater Phoenix area who are committed to providing quality medical services is looking for an OBGYN Hospitalist to work with their 13 OBGYN Physicians covering in-house hospitalist call averaging between 6-8 24hr shifts monthly. This Laborist will be covering 1 of their 2 admitting hospitals which are both community-based hospitals with level III and II nurseries respectively and all sub-specialty support in-house. In addition to covering the practices patients, the Laborist will be expected to provide coverage for the ED and L&D. They will provide patient assessment and triage, coordinate care with the patient's OB/GYN, care for unassigned patients, perform emergency deliveries, assist with surgical procedures, and provide OB/GYN consultation for inpatients and patients in the Emergency Department as needed. The physician would enjoy a great QOL work schedule, a competitive salary and benefits package and occurrence based malpractice coverage. They are looking for candidates ASAP so AZ licensure is a plus.
