Locums | OB/GYN | Fredericksburg, VA (VA license or IMLC)

In-house call-only coverage
Four physician openings
Temporary privileges available
No APP or teaching supervision
Assignment Details
Start: ASAP upon credentialing
Duration: Ongoing
Schedule: In-house call; specific dates and shift lengths TBD
Coverage: Call only for assigned and unassigned patients
Volume: Approximately 16–20 patients per shift; 1,700 deliveries annually
Setting: Inpatient; 16-bed department
Admissions and assigned-patient rounding required
Support: Five RNs and two APPs
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: Approximately 90 days
Clinical Details
Required: Low- and high-risk obstetric care
Required: Fetal heart rate interpretation, including NST/CST/FSE
Required: Vaginal and low-forceps deliveries; C-section decision-making
Required: C-sections, breech deliveries, multiple births, abruptions, and VBACs
Preferred: Third- and fourth-degree laceration repair
OB ultrasound, amniocentesis, office gynecology, and gynecologic surgery not required
Requirements
BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active VA license or IMLC
BLS required
