Assignment Details
Dates: November 3, December 18–20, and December 31; year to be confirmed
Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7 a.m.–7 a.m.; includes weekend coverage
Coverage type: Hospital call coverage; in-house, beeper/phone, and TigerText listed
Call activity: Variable; 0–15 callback hours reported
Volume: 0–12 hospital patients daily
Setting: Adult inpatient OB/GYN
Support: Midwife serves as first call on some shifts
EMR: Meditech
Credentialing: Variable; dependent on documentation completion
Clinical Details
Emergency obstetric and gynecologic surgeries
OB/GYN triage evaluations
Labor and delivery management
Recovery and postpartum care
No teaching responsibilities
Requirements
BC/BE in OB/GYN
Active Virginialicense
NRP
Active DEA
Availability for at least one listed coverage date
