Locums | OB/GYN – Gynecology Focus | Medford, WI (WI license or IMLC)
Why This Role
Any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway
No call or deliveries
Alternating weeks, Monday–Wednesday
BC/BE welcome
Temporary privileges available
Assignment Details
January 4, 2027 start; coverage sought throughout calendar year 2027
Alternating weeks: first and third OR second and fourth weeks each month
Clinic hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m.
One Monday per month: full surgery day, followed by Tuesday–Wednesday clinic
One Monday per month: half surgery day plus half-day clinic in Phillips, followed by Tuesday–Wednesday clinic in Medford
Outpatient clinic and scheduled gynecologic surgery
Variable clinic volume: sometimes very few visits, up to approximately seven per day
No call or admissions
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: approximately 60–90 days
Clinical Details
Primarily surgical consultations and visits beyond NP scope
General OB/GYN visits as needed
Office/minor gynecologic procedures required
Surgical gynecology, including hysterectomies
Diagnostic/minor laparoscopy required
Open and major operative gynecology preferred
Low- and high-risk pregnancy care and OB ultrasound skills preferred
No birthing center or delivery coverage
No APP supervision or resident teaching required
Requirements
BC/BE in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Any state license accepted via Act 10 expedited pathway
Current BLS
Competency in office gynecology and required surgical procedures
Availability for alternating Monday–Wednesday coverage throughout 2027
