Located in Mason City, IA – Des Moines 120m
Full-time; Permanent

Inpatient Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery
7 24-hour shifts per month
Seeking BC/BE OBGYN
Overview:
* Join an established OB Hospitalist program at a regional referral and teaching hospital
* Work alongside 1 full-time OB Hospitalist, 1 part-time OB Hospitalist, 3 PRN OB Hospitalists, 1 OBGYN, 4 Advanced Practice Providers and 2 Certified Nurse Midwives
* Schedule consists of 7 24-hour shifts per month
* Approximately 500–600 deliveries annually
* Provide inpatient obstetric care and Labor & Delivery coverage
* Level II NICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses
* On-site blood bank available
* Teaching opportunities with Family Medicine residents and medical students
* Family Medicine residents provide 24/7 coverage in Labor & Delivery
* In-house specialty support including Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery and Anesthesiology
* Collaborative relationship with a regional Perinatology team for high-risk obstetric management
* Access to comprehensive specialty consultation and advanced hospital resources

* $400,000 annual base salary
