Locum Physician – General Opportunity in Oklahoma
We are seeking a Physician for a locum General opportunity in Oklahoma.
Position Details
- 24-hour call coverage
- November Start: ongoing coverage need into 2027
- Approximately 25–30 deliveries per month
- Average weekend volume: approximately 0–3 deliveries
- Level I Nursery
- Community hospital
- Paid travel and expenses
- Airfare, hotel, mileage, and rental car provided
- Miscarriages
- Ectopic pregnancies
- Other OB/GYN emergencies
- The hospital typically does not deliver patients under 36 weeks when there is sufficient time to arrange a transfer.
- Higher-risk and preterm patients are generally transferred to a tertiary children's hospital when appropriate.
- Providers should be comfortable assessing patients and determining when transfer is necessary.
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Comfortable with 24-hour call
- Strong OB and pediatric skillset
- Comfortable managing OB/GYN emergencies in the ER
