A busy, established hospital OB team in the Quad Cities (Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois) is seeking a full-time OB/GYN Hospitalist (Laborist). Provide comprehensive inpatient OB and GYN care with a unique collaborative model alongside a community health center and midwives.
Highlights:
• Dedicated hospitalist role – no separate office practice or "doc call"
• Approximately 80 deliveries per month
• 24-hour in-house coverage of L&D, OB triage and ER consults
• Regional referral resource for GYN patients
• Multidisciplinary team including anesthesia, NICU and midwives

Job Responsibilities
• Manage deliveries and obstetric emergencies
• Round daily on post-operative and post-partum patients
• Collaborate with midwives and community health center providers
• Serve as a GYN referral resource
Qualifications
• Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Iowa license (or willing to obtain)
• Clean malpractice preferred; no open cases in probate or practice under supervision
• Permanent role only – not open to locums
