Locums | OB/GYN | Warrenton, VA (any state license accepted; VA preferred) Why This Role

  • November and December dates available
  • Midwife first-call support on select shifts
  • Temporary privileges available
Assignment Details Dates: November 3, 10, 19; December 1, 2, 29, 31, 2026 Schedule: 24-hour shifts, 7a–7a Availability: Any listed dates considered Coverage type: Inpatient OB/GYN + 24-hour Call Call: In-house and beeper/phone coverage; TigerText communication Callbacks: Variable, approximately 0–15 hours Volume: Approximately 0–12 patients/day Setting: Hospital-based OB/GYN Support: Midwife first call on select shifts EMR: Meditech Credentialing: Timeframe varies; temporary privileges available Clinical Details Labor and delivery management Obstetric triage and emergency evaluations Gynecologic triage and emergency evaluations Emergency obstetric surgeries, including C-sections Emergency gynecologic surgical procedures Post-delivery recovery and postpartum care Inpatient OB/GYN management Midwife collaboration on applicable shifts No outpatient clinic responsibilities Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN License: Any state license accepted for presentation; active VA license preferred NRP certification Active DEA Experience managing labor, deliveries, and obstetric emergencies Proficiency in emergency OB/GYN surgical procedures Ability to provide 24-hour hospital-based coverage Availability for at least one listed date Compensation Rate negotiable, open to your number Malpractice provided Travel and lodging reimbursed
