Description
Noor Locums is seeking an experienced OB/GYN physician for an ongoing inpatient call coverage opportunity in Alaska.
This is a call-only assignment supporting a busy obstetric service with approximately 800 deliveries annually. The physician will provide beeper call coverage, manage inpatient OB/GYN needs, and respond to obstetric emergencies.
Job Responsibilities
Manage labor and delivery patients
Evaluate and treat obstetric emergencies
Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as clinically indicated
Manage complicated pregnancies and deliveries
Provide inpatient consultations and admissions
Round on assigned patients
Respond to calls within the required response time
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Alaska medical license required
BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Hospital call experience and ability to manage inpatient OB/GYN cases
Ability to provide beeper call coverage with a 30-minute response time
