Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician for an inpatient and outpatient locum tenens opportunity in Iron Mountain, Michigan.
The immediate need is for November 23–30 call coverage. The preferred physician can also see a limited number of prenatal patients in clinic during weekday call coverage. Physicians interested in a laborist or call-only role will also be considered.
The practice reported 319 deliveries in 2025, offering an opportunity to support a community-based OB/GYN service.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage obstetric patients
Provide prenatal visits during weekday coverage, if available
Manage labor and delivery and obstetric emergencies
Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as clinically indicated
Provide inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care
Round on assigned patients
Supervise advanced practice providers as needed
Qualifications

Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call
Schedule: Call coverage, with limited weekday prenatal clinic visits preferred
Alternative: Call-only/laborist coverage will also be considered
Call Response: 15 minutes
Patient Volume: Approximately 12 clinic patients and 1–2 hospital patients
