Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Henderson, North Carolina.
This assignment combines outpatient women's health services with beeper call coverage for unassigned patients. The practice averages approximately 360 deliveries annually and offers support from advanced practice providers and clinical staff.
Job Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage routine and high-risk pregnancies
Provide obstetric care and manage labor and delivery when on call
Respond to calls involving unassigned patients
Manage obstetric emergencies and complications
Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as clinically indicated
Manage admissions and assigned patient care
Collaborate with advanced practice providers and office staff
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active North Carolina medical license or IMLC
ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges are available
Ability to provide beeper call coverage with a 25-minute response time
Working Hours
Duration: Ongoing
Setting: Primarily outpatient, with hospital call responsibilities
Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call
Call Ratio: 1:1
Call Response: 25 minutes
Patient Volume: Approximately 10 patients per shift
Annual Deliveries: Approximately 360
Coverage includes scheduled blocks, with additional dates based on ongoing needs.
