Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician for an ongoing inpatient call coverage opportunity in Pocatello, Idaho.
This role supports a busy obstetric service with approximately 1,100 deliveries annually, a Level III NICU, and maternal-fetal medicine resources available on campus. Physicians will provide beeper call coverage and manage assigned inpatient OB/GYN patients.
Job Responsibilities
Manage routine and high-risk antepartum patients
Evaluate and manage obstetric emergencies
Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries as clinically indicated
Provide care for assigned patients and support hospital patient needs
Manage admissions and inpatient consultations
Collaborate with the hospital's clinical team and available maternal-fetal medicine resources
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Idaho medical license or IMLC
Fellowship training preferred
Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients
Ability to provide inpatient call coverage and manage obstetric emergencies
Working Hours
Duration: Ongoing
Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Beeper call only
Call response requirement: 30 minutes
Typical call workload: Approximately 3–5 phone consultations, 5–6 patients seen, and 2–3 admissions per day
Coverage includes evening/night shifts and 24-hour shifts, depending on the schedule.
Additional coverage dates are expected monthly.
