Description
Noor Locums is seeking Board-Certified OB/GYN physicians for a laborist locum tenens opportunity in Fort Mill, South Carolina. This inpatient, call-only role offers in-house coverage in a busy labor and delivery service with approximately 1,000 deliveries annually.
Multiple physicians may be considered for coverage.
Job Responsibilities
Manage labor and delivery patients
Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Evaluate and manage obstetric emergencies
Provide inpatient rounding and admissions
Respond to obstetric consultations and urgent patient needs
Manage assigned patients during call coverage
Qualifications
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active South Carolina medical license required
BLS required
Experience providing inpatient laborist coverage
Ability to manage routine and complicated obstetric cases
Working Hours
Setting: Inpatient
Coverage Type: Call only
Call Structure: In-house call
Call response requirement: 30 minutes
Patient volume: Approximately 3–5 patients per 24-hour period
Admissions: Approximately 1–2 per 24-hour period
