Description
Noor Locums is seeking Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Hood River, Oregon. This position combines scheduled outpatient clinic hours with inpatient and outpatient call coverage.
A great opportunity for physicians interested in full-time coverage or a flexible rotating schedule with another provider.
Job Responsibilities
Manage routine obstetric and gynecologic cases
Provide weeknight and 24-hour weekend beeper call coverage
Perform deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies
Evaluate and manage urgent gynecologic cases, including potential ectopic pregnancies
Perform in-office procedures and minor gynecologic procedures
Assist with minor gynecologic and OR surgeries within granted privileges
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active Oregon medical license required
BLS and NRP required
DEA required
Hospital privileges in both Obstetrics and Gynecology required
Recent case logs within the past 24 months to support requested privileges
Working Hours
Duration: Ongoing
Clinic: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 AM–5 PM
Weeknight call: 5 PM–7 AM
Weekend call: 24-hour coverage, 7 AM–7 AM
Approximately 8 call shifts per month
Call coverage includes one weekend and five weekday call shifts monthly
Physicians may be considered for full-time coverage or rotating schedules:
One week on / one week off
Two weeks on / two weeks off
Approximately 0–2 deliveries may occur during a 24-hour call shift; some shifts may have no deliveries.
