Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in New Mexico. This position offers a combination of scheduled clinical hours and beeper call in a busy inpatient and outpatient setting.
Join an established team supporting a high-volume OB/GYN service with approximately 1,500 deliveries annually.
Job Responsibilities
Provide general obstetric and gynecologic care
Manage routine and high-risk pregnancies
Perform vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Evaluate and manage obstetric complications
Provide inpatient rounding and admissions
Deliver care to assigned patients during beeper call coverage
Perform gynecologic evaluations and procedures within granted privileges
Qualifications
Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology
Active New Mexico medical license required
ACLS and BLS required
Fellowship training preferred
Hospital privileges required; temporary privileges are available
Experience with a broad range of general OB/GYN services
Working Hours
Ongoing coverage
Scheduled clinical hours plus beeper call
Call ratio: 1:1
Call response requirement: 30 minutes
Call coverage is for assigned patients
Call volume may include 0–3 phone consultations, patient visits, and admissions per 24-hour period
Inpatient and outpatient services are part of the practice setting; both settings are not necessarily required for every assignment

Fetal heart rate interpretation
OB ultrasound
Vaginal and cesarean deliveries
Management of complicated pregnancies and deliveries
Breech and multiple births
VBAC management
Repair of third- and fourth-degree lacerations
General gynecologic care and surgical procedures
