Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN physician for a hospital-based locum tenens opportunity in Hazard, Kentucky. This assignment is strictly call coverage, with no clinic responsibilities.
The opportunity includes two specific coverage blocks in late November and December 2026, providing inpatient OB/GYN care for assigned patients.

Approximately 250 deliveries annually

Job Responsibilities
Respond to patient calls within the required response time.
Evaluate and manage obstetric patients.
Provide inpatient care and admissions as needed.
Manage routine and complicated deliveries.
Evaluate obstetric emergencies and determine appropriate interventions.
Perform cesarean sections and other procedures within the physician's clinical scope.
Qualifications
Active Kentucky medical license or IMLC.
ABLS, ACLS, BLS, and PALS required.
Fellowship required.
Experience managing inpatient OB/GYN patients and obstetric emergencies.
Comfortable providing call coverage and managing assigned patients.
Working Hours
November 24–30, 2026: Orientation on November 24; coverage through November 30 at 7 AM.
December 22–28, 2026: Orientation on December 22; coverage through December 28 at 7 AM.
Call details:
Beeper call coverage.
30-minute response time.
No clinic responsibilities.
Coverage is limited to assigned patients.
