Description
Noor Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN physician for inpatient hospital coverage in Paducah, Kentucky, November 25–29, 2026.
This is a holiday coverage opportunity with 24-hour call shifts, supported by daily midwife coverage. The hospital has a relatively low C-section volume, with approximately 700–800 deliveries annually.
Job Responsibilities
Manage routine vaginal deliveries and low-forceps deliveries.
Make clinical decisions regarding C-sections.
Manage complicated deliveries, including C-sections, breech presentations, multiple births, and placental abruptions.
Provide VBAC care.
Repair third- and fourth-degree lacerations.
Provide gynecological call coverage.
Evaluate and manage inpatient labor and delivery patients.
Document patient care in EPIC.
Qualifications
Active Kentucky medical license or active IMLC required.
Current BLS certification required.
DEA registration required.
Must be available for the full November 25–29, 2026 coverage period.
Must be comfortable handling routine and complicated deliveries and gynecological call.
Working Hours
Shift schedule: 24-hour call, 7:00 AM–7:00 AM.
In-house and beeper/phone call coverage.
Daily midwife coverage is available.
Weekend and holiday coverage required.
Approximately 6–7 shifts per month, with potential for additional coverage beyond the listed dates.
